During your visit, Dr. Shaffer may recommend therapies such as ultrasound or electrical muscle stimulation to promote blood flow to the injured area. Many of our patients enjoy decreased pain and increased relaxation from an appointment with our massage therapist. And as your condition improves, Dr. Shaffer may begin a therapeutic exercise program with you to rehabilitate muscles that were weakened by your injury.
